Marantz has proudly revealed its Model 40n integrated amplifier. Designed as a ‘just add speakers’ modern music system, it includes built-in access to Spotify Connect, Amazon Music, Tidal, Apple AirPlay 2, Bluetooth and TuneIn internet radio, alongside support for music libraries up to 24-bit/192kHz PCM and 5.6MHz DSD.
Rear panel connections include three line level analogue inputs, a moving magnet phono stage and pre/power amp connections. Digital inputs include coaxial, optical, HDMI, ethernet and USB, with a subwoofer out completing the package.
At the 40n’s heart beats a 70W per channel (8Ω) Class AB amplifier with four output transistors per side and heavy copper bus bars with short power pathways.
Available in either black or silver gold, the Model 40n costs £2,199 and is available from March 2022.
