MOON by Simaudio has proudly unveiled its latest amplifier designs at an exclusive London showcase.
Billed as the North Collection, the new line-up culminates from years of research to feature the brand’s ground-breaking MOON Distortion Cancelling Amplifier (MDCA) circuit and MOON Damping Base (MDB).

Updated volume technologies allow for simultaneous adjustment in the digital and analogue domains with their premium converters designed and tuned by the MOON Digital Engine (MDE).
The brand’s slick MOONLink connectivity ensures accessing and playing your music is made easy, and the new MOON BRM-1 remote control is pure class with touch controls, an LED screen and full menu access as part of the package.
New OLED colour screens feature across the North Collection, showcasing artist names, track listings and album cover art, alongside full volume and setup menus.
Every model in the North Collection boasts contoured vertical heatsinks and timeless MOON styling, with handcrafted details that make these new models a joy to see as well as hear.
To whet our appetites, we were treated to a carefully curated playlist with tracks from Aretha Franklin to Ray LaMontagne, fed through Nordost cables to Audiovector’s no compromise R6 Arreté loudspeakers.
Prices will start from £11,000, with the 791 network preamp and 761 power being being released first, followed by the 641 integrated amp and 681 power amp. The flagship 891 network preamp and 861 power amp will complete the line-up.
