Astell&Kern Kann Max player

Magic number

Astell&Kern has pulled back the curtain on three new products to delight digital audio fans.

The Kann Max is its latest portable digital audio player offering a healthy 15Vrms output and support for audio up to 32-bit/768kHz PCM and native DSD512, with 2.5mm, 3.5mm and 4.4mm headphones outputs with a £1,199 price tag.

And as the ideal accessory, the brand’s new AK HC2 Dual DAC cable is made for audio grade headphones to ensure they’re getting the best out of iOS and Android hi-res audio players, costing £169.
