Iconic high-end Swiss audio brand Nagra is continuing to celebrate its 75 year history with the launch of an all new power amp.
At the start of 2026, Nagra unveiled Series II, a new range positioned between its established Classic and HD lines. Its first offering was the Preamp II-S, a valve-based stereo preamplifier which is now to be joined by a matching 120W per channel, high-bias Class AB stereo power amplifier.
The AMP II-S boasts a new linear power supply, built around a custom-made 800 VA potted transformer, while a single pair of MOSFET output transistors (per channel) keeps its output stage nice and simple.
Mechanical construction has been considered too thanks to its large CNC-machined heatsink and front panel Modulometer as visual and functional nods to the company’s history.
