Japan speaker specialists Eclipse has announced its first new loudspeaker in seven years. The new TD307MK3 replaces the outgoing TD307MK2 as a compact and affordable full-range speaker that’s built around the brand’s latest technologies.
Developed in the company’s Kobe factory in Japan, the new TD307MK3 is built around a 6.5cm full-range fibreglass drive unit with a large ‘repulsive’ neodymium main and sub-magnet system for greater power handling and efficiency, giving the speaker a claimed frequency response of 80Hz – 25kHz.
With it’s ovoid carcass measuring just 135×212×184mm (WHD), it can be used with an integrated mounting bracket for installation on walls and ceilings as well as desktops, to suit a range of audio applications.
The TD307MK3 costs £300 each / £600 per pair and comes in black or white.
