Wilson Audio has unveiled a new version of its smallest floorstanding speaker, the Sabrina V, which stands at just under 1m high and 30cm wide.
With every element revised and upgraded over its predecessor, its cabinet has been re-engineered and subtly reshaped while retaining an almost identical footprint to the SabrinaX. Its front baffle is formed from a new proprietary H-Material, with highly inert X-Material for all outer panels and structural reinforcement. Other cabinet upgrades include a redesigned bass port and midrange driver vent, plus an easy-access resistor panel for servicing and tuning.
Elsewhere new-generation drivers, trickled down from the company’s larger reference-level speakers, are put to good use with a Convergent Synergy Carbon (CSC) treble driver and 7-inch AlNiCo QuadraMag midrange driver. On bass duties beats an 8-inch bass homogenous cellulose composite cone lifted from the Sasha V and The Watt/Puppy.
For finishes, a range of WilsonGloss and grille colour options can be specified, meaning you can design your speakers as you wish.
