Following the launch of its Tethys passive loudspeakers, Goldmund has announced its new more compact stablemate.
The Melos Passive, with its name inspired by the origins of the Greek word ‘melody’, is crafted in Switzerland to Goldmund’s exacting standards, right down to its gold-plated elements made by a fellow Swiss luxury specialist that also supplies the like of luxury watch brands Rolex and Patek Philippe.
Costing £22,000 per pair, the Melos, features a 1″ soft dome tweeter and 7″ woofer with front firing bass ports. As the name implies, an active version is also in the works.
