Astell&Kern has revealed its latest portable audio player with partnering in-ear monitors, to get music fans where space is at a premium excited.

The A&Ultima SP3000 claims to be the world’s first first portable audio product built from 904L stainless steel.

Internally, the SP3000 sports Dual Audio Circuitry which boasts a complete separation of balanced and unbalanced audio signals up to 32-bit/768kHz PCM and 512DSD. It’s also Roon Ready with support for MQA and HD Bluetooth.

The A&Ultima SP3000 costs £3,799 including premium leather case.

Described as the perfect in-ear partner for the A&Ultima SP3000, Empire Ears‘ Odyssey are a handcrafted, high-performance in-ear monitor that offer sound through a 10-driver Quadbrid system comprised of five proprietary balanced armature drivers, dual W9+ subwoofers and Electrostatic Tweeters plus a W10 done conduction ultra driver

Housed within a 3D printed, hand polished A.R.C. treated chassis shell, the Odyssey cost £3,499 per pair.
