Following in the footsteps of its D1 and D2, Lumin is introducing its D3 network music player to UK audiences, thanks to Sound Design Distribution.

Combining new processing hardware and software within a new and compact all-aluminium chassis, the D3 boasts improved features and increased resampling performance.

Under its lid resides balanced internals with a Sabre DAC ES9028PRO chip with RJ45 1000Base-T Gigabit Ethernet and USB inputs, plus balanced and unbalanced analogue outputs.

Audio streaming support is on offer for OpenHome alongside Plex, Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, Qobuz, FLAC Lossless Radio, Tuneln Radio, AirPlay 2, Gapless Playback and Roon Ready tech. Audio file formats catered for include DSD Lossless up to DS256, DSF (DSD), DIFF (DSD), DoP (DSD), PCM up to 384kHz, FLAC, ALAC, WAV, AIFF and more.
