Luxman C-10X front on

Thoroughly modern retro

Following in the analogue footsteps of its recently released PD191A flagship turntable, Luxman has turned its attention to an all new preamp, the C-10X.

Replacing the outgoing C-900u, the C-10X is a completely redesigned model featuring the brand’s LIFES amplification feedback engine, first adopted for the M-10X flagship power amp, which makes the C-10X an ideal preamp partner.

Luxman C-10X internals

The C-10X is designed using Luxman’s LECUA-EX approach, which blends the feel of traditional audio gear from Luxman’s golden era with modern tech, including a smooth volume control with 0.5dB gain increments.

Its six inputs are spread evenly over balanced (XLR) and line-level (RCA) connections, with two balanced and two line-level outputs to connect to your power amplifier of choice.

Continuing the retro vibe, the front panel gets dedicated bass, treble and balanced controls plus a loudness feature on the accompanying remote control.
