Elac, which first launched a turntable back in 1948, has revealed its latest flagship deck that looks just the part for today’s mid to hi-end turntable.

The new Miracord 80 is a high-mass belt-driven design featuring a 10” carbon fibre tone arm, 5.6kg solid wood plinth and optional dedicated moving-magnet cartridge (manufactured for Elac by Clearaudio).

Available in gloss black or walnut veneer, the Miracord 80 costs £2,199 with pick-up or £1,999 without, while its optional lid costs £199 extra.
