Fritz Hansen and Technics are introduce a turntable collaboration that brings together light and sound through an iconic deck and equally iconic matching lamp.
Both the KAISER idell Luxus 6631-T and the Technics SL-40CBT are presented in a deep burgundy finish, highlighting their shared focus on precision and craftsmanship.

KAISER idell’s lamp, designed in 1936 by Bauhaus designer Christian Dell, reaches its 90th year in 2026 and provides the inspiration for the Luxus 6631-T model.
While the Technics SL-40CBT turntable uses the brand’s direct-drive motor system (first introduced in 1970), that’s long been associated with professional audio environments.

The collaboration is previewed at 3daysofdesign 2026 as part of the Fritz Hansen Sound Club installation, placed on original Fritz Hansen Bauhaus-style tables within the listening bar.

The limited editions will launch to market in October 2026.
Fritz Hansen will offer 200 lamps across Asia and Europe. The Technics turntable will be offered as a limited edition of up to 300 units, on display at select Fritz Hansen partner stores and available for purchase via Technics’ distribution, including in the US.
