Oregon’s Campfire Audio has announced its new Chimera flagship earphones, which are designed to push the boundaries of IEM (In-Ear Monitor) earbuds.
Inside they combine four cutting edge driver technologies with dynamic, balanced armature, electrostatic and bone-conduction all on the Chimera’s menu

This equates to a total of nine drivers, with each contributing to a different aspect of the Chimera’s sound. These include a newly developed 10mm ‘True-Glass’ dynamic variant for low and mid frequencies, while four electrostatic super-tweeters are on hand for high frequency content.

Elsewhere, the Chimera’s shell continues the quality approach, being machined from billet magnesium that’s PVD coated and married to a carbon fibre and brass faceplate that extends to a brass nozzle and integrated mesh screen,
Priced at £6,999 in gold and black finishes, visit Campfire Audio to find out more.
