Cambridge Audio is taking its respected A100 IEM (in ear monitor) to the next level, thanks to its new Melomania A100 SE model.
Described as an evolution of the original, it brings Dolby Audio to the party (accessed via Cambridge’s dedicated Melomania Connect app), with their sound tuned by the engineers behind the brand’s acclaimed amplifiers.
The A100 SE uses the same Class AB amplification as that used for the brand’s CX and EX Series models paired, with precision-tuned 10mm Neodymium drivers.
Elsewhere a dedicated dual-core 240MHz Qualcomm Kalimba DSP refines their sound processing while reducing distortion, while Snapdragon Sound ensures robust, low-latency connections for music, gaming and film. Audio playback reaches up to 24-bit/96kHz, with full support for aptX Lossless, LDAC, AAC and SBC.
To set them apart, a new blue finish has been specified, alongside black and white.
