Following the release of its dedicated PRE and PAS power amps back in January, Musical Fidelity is continuing to expand its flagship Nu-Vista range with the launch of its new 800.2 integrated amp.
The 800.2 updates the longstanding 800 model with a new front panel and inset display, rewound transformers, revised power supply circuits and newly designed remote control.
Power remains at a substantial 330W per-channel into 8 ohms, based around dual mono circuitry coupled to an independent pre-amplifier stage that boasts four 6S51N nuvistor valves.
Inputs include four line-level RCA sockets and one set of balanced XLR sockets, plus fixed and variable outputs.
