Q Acoustics has revealed its new 5000 range of stereo and home cinema loudspeaker.
Nestled between its 3000i range and Concept series, the 5000
models include the 5010 bookshelf, 5020 standmount, 5040 and 5050 floorstanders, with the 5090 centre-channel completing the line-up.
Their innovative tech includes C³ (pronounced ‘C-cubed’) Continuous Curved Cone designs in their mid/bass drivers and new housing for their tweeters that’s derived from the Concept series which is hermetically sealed and mechanically isolated from their front baffles.
Point-2-PointTM (P2P) internal bracing is also on hand inside their cabinets for stiffness, while Helmholtz Pressure Equalisers (HPETM) reduce internal pressure and standing waves in the floorstanding models.
Finishes include satin black or white, santos rosewood and holme oak.
Prices start from £499 for the 5010 and £599 for the 5020, rising to £999 for the 5040, with the 5050 model price TBC.
The 5090 centre-channel comes in at £399, alongside a range of accessories including the 3000FSi floorstands at £175 per pair, 3000WB wall bracket at £22 each for the 5010 and WB75 wall bracket for the 5020/5090 at £59.95 each.
