Lenco is seeing the vinyl wood for the trees with its new LBT-335BA turntable, which features a real bamboo wood plinth married to a carbon fibre tonearm, stalwart Ortofon 2M Red Cartridge and branded slipmat.
Priced at £429, it also sports Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity and a USB output to ensure digital connections are equally catered for alongside analogue, thanks to an in-built moving-magnet phono stage.
Lenco says Bamboo was chosen not just for being one of the fastest-growing plants on earth – being both robust and FSC Certified as sustainable – but because of the warm aesthetic it brings to the deck’s sonics.
