Bowers & Wilkins has launched its new Px7 S3, which it says is its most advanced wireless headphone yet.

As a direct replacement for the outgoing Px7 S2e its been fully re-designed, whereby only the cone of its predecessor drive unit has been carried over. Its spec sheet includes the rest of the drive units being re-engineered and fed via Qualcomm aptX Adaptive 24/96 and Lossless Bluetooth.

Its noise cancelling hardware is also upgraded new eight-microphones, while the casework has been refined into slimmer profile ear-cups with improved fit and materials for better durability.

Updates have also been applied within Bowers & Wilkins Music app, which now includes a user-adjustable five-band equaliser with preset memory, plus support for spatial audio in the works for later this year.

Available in ‘Canvas’ white, ‘Indigo’ blue and ‘Anthracite’ black, the Px7 S3 costs £399.
