Monitor Audio has announced that its statement Hyphn loudspeaker is now available in over 200 custom finishes.
Each speaker is made to order, being hand-built and hand-painted in Monitor Audio’s Rayleigh HQ, giving owners the option to pick a finish that meets their tastes and matches their listening environment.
Billed as the most creatively ambitious and technically advanced speaker the company has ever built, Hyphen‘s cabinet is precision milled from a composite of acrylic, minerals and natural pigments.
The three original Hyphn finishes (matte ‘Heritage’ green, matte black, and pure satin white) remain available, priced at £70,000, while the custom finish editions raise the price to a cool £80,250. And having recently experienced these for ourselves at Monitor Audio’s Essex facility, those lucky enough to own a pair won’t be disappointed.
