Ultrafide Audio is taking its ‘pro sound, homebound’ approach to the next level with its SP500 stereo power amplifier.
With its SP short for ‘squaredPOWER’, its cleanly styled casework houses the same power output as its U500DC sibling that we tested in June ’24.
Formally launch at 2025’s Edinburgh HI-AV Show (8-9 November) and costing £3,990, the SP500 features Ultrafide’s Ultra Sigma output topology, with DC coupling its input to output.
Connectivity includes single-ended RCA and balanced XLR inputs, plus XLR passive link and speakON outputs.
