Audiovector R 5 Arreté detail

Half a decade in the making

After five years in development and more than 2,000 listening hours, Audiovector is ready to unleash its R 5 Arreté loudspeaker.

Billed as the first model in the R Series to inherit tech directly from the brand’s flagship R 10 Arreté, the R 5 Arreté bridges the gap between the R 3 and R 6 Arreté.

A 3.5 way design, its air moving hardware has all the hallmarks Audiovector is so renowned for, including its latest AMT tweeter with a claimed 2,800-53,000Hz range.

Other specialised elements include cryogenically treated crossover capacitors, second-generation ‘Freedom Grounding (that’s 50% more efficient than previous generations) and ‘AFC’ (Accelerated Force Concept) driver tech, plus bespoke three-position damping for its new Arreté plinth.
