Southport’s kings of compact digital audio iFi has launched its latest offering, that’s designed as a first rung on better digital audio’s ladder.

Priced at just £79 (yes, you read that right) the Uno is a small yet mighty DAC and headphone amp that packs a 32-bit ES9219 Sabre DAC chip with HyperStream III architecture and Quad DAC+ technology, allowing it to support hires audio up to 32-bit/384kHz PCM, DSD256 and MQA.

And it’s not just music fans that the Uno has been designed to serve, with dedicated EQ modes for gamers and movie lovers too.

Helping to keep its mineral-filled polymer shell compact at under 90mm wide/deep, outputs are limited to a pair of stereo RCA sockets and 3.5mm headphone jack with only a USB-C input to hook up your smartphone or external device.

Finished in Air Force Blue, Uno will be available from the end of November as an ideal hifi stocking filler.
