Standing tall

Acoustic Energy has unveiled the new flagship in its 300 loudspeaker series, the floor-standing AE320.

A three-way design, the AE320’s proportions have been kept slim thanks to the inclusion of AE’s latest generation ceramic aluminium sandwich cone 130mm drivers, with two bass woofers, a midrange driver and a 28mm soft-dome tweeter.

Acoustic Energy’s AE320 comes in a choice of high gloss piano black, white or real walnut wood veneer

The AE320’s cabinets are formed from 18mm high density MDF, with bracing technology lifted from AE’s Reference Series and a slot shaped rear panel duct port to aid low frequency delivery.

Standing at 1000 x 175 x 320mm (HWD, excluding spikes) and weighing 26kg per speaker, price is £1,599.
