Taking the tube to Vienna

Astell&Kern is heading to Vienna’s High End show with more than a spring in its step with two new products to showcase that come packed with the brand’s latest tech.

These include an expansion to its flagship player line with its SP4000T player, which will be joined by the Clarus In-Ear Monitor (IEM).

Both products will be making their global debuts at booth HX4, M04 (Austria Center).

Astell&Kern SP4000T

The SP4000T is the industry’s first digital audio player to feature Raytheon JAN6418 mil-spec vintage vacuum tubes in a Quad configuration.

Boasting Triple Tube Mode, this also gives users up to 54 sound combinations, while the player’s dual wifi antenna is there for fast, reliable and stable wireless streaming and downloads.

Astell&Kern Clarus

Not wishing to be outdone, the Clarus also boasts a rich feature set including a new nine driver ‘Tribrid’ approach using dynamic, balanced armature and MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems) drivers, crafted from premium-grade aluminium and with each dedicated to its own frequency range.
