Pro-Ject is continuing its marriage of iconic brand designs melded to its respected turntable packages, with one of its most striking Artist Collection creations yet.
Its new Harley-Davidson deck is a special-edition model celebrating the legendary motorcycle company’s heritage through Pro-Ject’s analogue audio expertise.
Designed as a celebration of Harley-Davidson’s craftsmanship, which goes back over a century, the new turntable takes inspiration from the brand’s Bar & Shield logo, combining a distinctive sculptural form with premium materials including polished aluminium, stainless steel and genuine leather.
The turntable boasts a substantial, resonance-damped construction hosting an 8.6″ S-shaped aluminium tonearm with SME headshell, high-quality internal wiring and a TPE-damped counterweight, plus pre-adjusted Pro-Ject Pick it PRO cartridge.
Its chassis is formed from an aluminium and MDF sandwich, with a precision-milled aluminium top surface for structural strength while also offering the deck a distinctive industrial finish.
The drive system uses a diamond-cut aluminium sub-platter with a heavy glass main platter and a 915g Harley-Davidson record puck. Together, these components create a total moving mass of 2.75kg.
Handmade in Europe and supplied with a high-quality semi-balanced phono cable (with optional dust cover sold separately), Pro-Ject’s Harley-Davidson Turntable is available for special order in the the UK, priced at £2,299.
