Specialist distributor Sound Design Distribution Ltd has announced the UK availability of Silent Angel’s SL1 Plus music player.
Building on the success of its B1 and B2 models, the SL1 Plus offers seamless Wi-Fi streaming (up to 192kHz/24-bit) for services including embedded MQA Audio Decoding, Qobuz, Tidal Connect, Spotify Connect, DLNA, and Airplay2, alongside Internet Radio and Bluetooth – all via its VitOS Orbiter app.
Equipped with XLR balanced, RCA (single-ended), coaxial, optical, and USB audio outputs, the Bremen SL1 Plus boasts a low-power, hifi-grade board with six core CPUs and the VitOS operating system.
A thick copper layer on the core board and SSD section ensures efficient heat dissipation for long-term stability. Elsewhere, advanced EMI shielding further reduces electromagnetic interference, with its dedicated DAC board housed in an aluminium enclosure to separate the unit’s analogue and digital circuits.
