Cambridge Audio has introduced its new Spira ready-to-play turntable.
Designed to work in any system, from full hifi set-ups to partnering active or Bluetooth speakers and headphones, it’s ready to go fresh from the box.

Coming with an Audio-Technica AT3600L cartridge pre-fitted and aligned, a built-in phono stage and a Bluetooth transmitter – it offers owners a raft of features.

Its removable head shell makes it easy for the stylus to be replaced or upgraded when the time comes, while its phono stage can also be bypassed to pair Spira with an external phono stage, such as Cambridge’s own.

The deck itself sports a 1.8kg steel platter rotating on a solid wood plinth, while a felt mat and vibration-absorbing feet keep rumble at bay.
Added to this an aluminium alloy tubed tonearm with adjustable counterweight and anti-skate. Speed change is electronic with a dial to select 33 or 45rpm.

Available in black, white, green, range and blue finishes, matched to Cambridge Audio’s L/R active speakers, Spira costs at £329.
