Hi-end US audio speaker brand Wilson Audio has introduced its smallest subwoofer, the Lōkē.
Sized at just 35.2 x 52.7 x 55.2cm (WxHxD) Lōkē is designed to partner with Wilson’s TuneTot bookshelf speakers or its three compact (by Wilson standards) SabrinaX, Yvette and Sasha DAW floorstanders, should you want extra low end refined muscle from its custom 10″ driver.
Unlike Wilson’s larger subwoofers Lōkē is an active design, housing an integrated 500W amplifier within its compact case that incorporates the brand’s ActivXO Dual Subwoofer Crossover functionality with crossover frequency, slope, phase, and level adjustment.
Options and prices
With 21 colours on offer across ‘standard’, ‘upgrade’ and ‘premium pearl’ finishes plus four grille colour options, prices are £8,998 (standard), £9,500 (upgrade) and £10,998 (premium pearl).
