As this years Record Store Day highlighted, vinyl has never been as popular in recent times. Pro-Ject clearly recognises this and the value in making vinyl playback accessible to new audiences.

Step forward its new E1 turntable package which starts at £269 that draws heavily on the brand’s T1 model. Built around a wood chassis with aluminium tonearm, it boasts a new belt driven ABS polymer platter, new DC motor with electronically controlled 33/45 RPM speed controller and pre-set Ortofon OM 5E moving-magnet (MM) cartridge as standard.
