British cable connoisseurs QED has announced its new Reference Ethernet cable, pitched as its most accurate, stable connector between networked devices.
With enough bandwidth to deal with data rates up to 32-bit/384kHz PCM and DSD512 audio files, the Reference Ethernet is a Class I Category 8.1 cable that can support 40G Ethernet.
Featuring ferrite insulation, low-loss dielectric and gold-plated Telegärtner plugs and 99.999% oxygen free copper 24 AWG conductors with customised twist rates, the cable is finished in a stylish white pearl outer jacket.
Prices start at £149 for a 1m length, £159 for 2m, £179 for 3m and £199 for 5m.
