Pro-Ject is making further inroads into balanced audio with the launch of its X2 B turntable package, designed to partner with its Phono Box S3 B or Phono Box DS3 B phono stages using the bespoke Connect-IT E balanced cable.
Priced at £1,399, the deck includes electronically controlled speed adjustment (including for 78RPM), a 9in one-piece aluminium tonearm wrapped in carbon fibre and pre-adjusted Ortofon Quintet Red moving-coil cartridge feeding RCA phono and 5-Pin mini-XLR outputs.
